We are currently seeking a Data engineer to set up and develop the workflow with databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to efficiently collect, transform, and store data from various sources
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data availability
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle by implementing appropriate validation and monitoring processes
- Optimize and tune data models and ETL processes for performance and scalability
- Build and maintain data warehouses and databases to support analytics and reporting needs
- Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes, data models, and data flows
- Implement data governance practices to ensure compliance with data policies and regulations
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
You have:
- 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or a related field
- Experience in iGaming or a similar fast-paced industry is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in working on cross-functional data projects and collaborating with various teams
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices to ensure compliance with data policies
- Experience in optimizing data pipelines and databases for performance and scalability
- Proficiency in designing and building scalable data pipelines using tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, or AWS Glue
- Strong skills in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools, such as Talend, Informatica, or custom scripts
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices for designing efficient data schemas
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Ability to implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for data storage and processing
- Strong teamwork abilities to work effectively with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data issues and optimize processes
